Ericka's Senior Portraits

www.KerryGuicePhotography.com

This is a little delayed, but better late than never, right? :)

Ericka's boyfriend works at the Conway Airport, so she had the great idea to take some of her Senior Portraits there- I was so excited! I'd seen airport portraits before, so I was pretty pumped about getting to take some of my own.

I have no doubt that this girl will go far in "the real world-" she was so much fun and you can just see she has a good head on her shoulders. I am in LOVE with these photos!

Thanks, Ericka, for a great session!

Mia's Senior Portraits

www.KerryGuicePhotography.com

I think because I'm at the age where I know so many people getting married and having babies, and because I work pretty much solely off word-of-mouth, I don't get to do many Senior Portraits. It's unfortunate, because they are so much fun! It's great to work with soon-to-be grads because they're so excited about getting out of school and "starting real life," and it makes me smile (and feel old), thinking about when I felt like that too. I distinctly remember telling my mother that I was "not excited about 'growing up' because you have to pay for things like toothpaste all by yourself!" Ahhhh, to be young and worry-free again...

Mia was so great to work with. She's easy going and has such a great personality! The black heels and soccer ball pose was her idea- LOVE IT! We got some really great shots, and I'm so happy with how they turned out. Downtown Conway has some really great places for portraits- I found some great new locations for future reference! The shots with the blue-gray wall and orange construction dividers are some of my new favorites. She looked absolutely beautiful in them all!

Kim's Maternity Portraits

www.KerryGuicePhotography.com

My husband and I lived in Memphis for 4 years for him to attend Optometry school, and I made some really great friends there. This is Kim, one of those dear, dear friends. I took her engagement and wedding photos, and I'm so glad to have been able to take her maternity portraits. I can't wait to meet their sweet baby! They are one of the crazy couples who wait to find out the baby's sex for the birth. ;) She's one of the most organized, responsible people I've ever met, so this is still hard for me to understand how she can handle the suspense! The nursery is absolutely adorable! She pulled off the "unisex" beautifully. It's a cucumber-ish green, which will be perfect for a girl with splashes of hot pink, and will be very cute for a boy with splashes of chocolate brown. Their dog, Rudy, thinks they went through all the trouble to make a room all for him, but little does he know he's about to be pushed down the priority list quite a bit! Poor dogs... our two furry girls are still trying to figure out what happened!

These turned out beautifully. She's one of the most photogenic people I've photographed! If you know her, you'll see that she looks EXACTLY like her gorgeous mama in a lot of these shots.

Weddings: A Tax Write-off?

Check out this article! I wish I would've thought about this when I got married- we had TONS of food leftover, and donating the things you won't use again are most definitely a WIN/WIN for everyone! There's also a book that goes more in depth regarding this- click here to view it on Amazon...

Fowler Wedding

My wonderful aunt is so incredibly talented with florist design (among many other things), and for my wedding was so nice to do ALL my bouquets, arrangements, boutonnieres, etc. Let me tell you, they were STUNNING! So when she approached me about her son's upcoming wedding, I was so happy to return the favor by photographing his wedding. She was the florist for this wedding as well (mother of the groom AND florist- impressed, aren't you?) :) They were, of course, gorgeous, as was the bride. James and Karetta are so cute together. Love just oozed out their eyeballs all night. :) It was a pretty night, and the whole wedding was very indicative of their personalities. The Four Winds Chapel is SOOOO charming! It was so much fun to photograph their wedding, and it was also fun to have my family get to see me "at work" on a wedding shoot. I have to include a photo or two of my daughter Violet, because she just looked too cute in her little black and white dress and red sparkly shoes... :)

The Farmers

www.KerryGuicePhotography.com

This family won a KGP Photo Session at a silent auction benefit for CARTI. It was a pleasure to work with them! Their daughter was so well mannered and mature, and their 3 year old son was... a 3 year old boy! :) A wonderful tornado that makes you smile! We got these shots at the State Capitol Building, which was really dressed up for the Holidays- I'm definitely going to do more here next year- they turned out great!
